Our company specializes in supporting “on-call” operations and emergency response taskings for aerial photography and LiDAR mapping services.  Most of our collection operations involve an immediate or urgent response deadline for deliverables.  Since accuracy is paramount in aerial photography and LiDAR operations, we must first generate a proper flight plan from the data capture parameters as determined by the customer.  We establish a solid two-way communication between our customer and our planning team to ensure accurate and rapid on-call capability.  We then work closely with the client’s geospatial department or end-user to ensure the proper format for deliverables and the schedule for each deliverable (particularly important on large projects or ongoing efforts such as recording weekly progress on a construction project).

The geospatial professionals at PAR, utilize a series of QA/QC procedures to ensure both accuracy and clarity of the final deliverables.  First and foremost are the 100% all-digital Leica® Geosystems LiDAR sensor and aerial photography camera.  By using state-of-the-art digital systems for all data capture, our Company has eliminated a significant portion of the inherent error in aerial photography.  Leica® Geosystems has been designing and building land, air and space surveying equipment for more than 100 years and also designs internally the software to interpret and analyze the raw data.  Within our geospatial department, all deliverables are reviewed by multiple geospatial experts to ensure accurate imaging services and clarity.  As a final pre-delivery check, all deliverables prior to shipment or upload to the secure ftp site must pass stringent inspection from our company geospatial experts.
Many of our current tasks require data collection hundreds of miles from our main office in Bossier City, LA and we respond to those collection areas within hours. We can provide on-call capability from our normal base of operations, and can keep costs low and thereby provide significant savings to our clients. As the need arises or when weather may be marginal for several consecutive days, we will locate our collection platforms to an airfield near the planned project area. Since collected raw aerial data can be transmitted electronically to our geospatial processing laboratory, there is no delay in processing the collected data into the needed deliverable. We also can move our airframes easily to support operations in one part of Louisiana on one day and in a completely different region the next day: The inherent flexibility of aircraft permits immediate relocation of aerial collection assets without the need to “pack-up” and ship bulky or oversized support equipment.
